Some warning signs of having an eating disorder can be seen when:

~ a person is significantly scared of gaining weight when already at a healthy body weight

~constant dieting

~ wanting to eat by themselves

~ insomnia, depression, excessive exercising

~going to the bathroom immediately after eating

~ abnormal weight loss

~nutrition labels

and everything surrounding body weight (KH).

~*~
People that have an eating disorder want and tend to hide their body and condition, so others do not notice anything.

When around people they feel uncomfortable eating, wear loose clothing, complain about the way they look (even though they are at a healthy weight), have no energy, and feel tired (NEDIC)

But... "A person DOES NOT need/have to appear underweight or even "average" to suffer ANY of these signs and symptoms. Many men and women with Eating Disorders appear NOT to be underweight... it does not mean they suffer less or are in any less danger" (SomethingFishy)
